How To Cook Spicy And Delicious Keema Biryani. You must have seen my chicken biryani recipe today we’ll be making kheema biryani my cool it came up a lot I’ll be using lamb mince but you can also use beef it’s easy to make as always biryani goes perfect with poppadoms sweet let’s see salad and mango chutney.
600grams lamb mince /chicken or beef 4 cups rice 3-4tbls cooking oil 1 tbs crushed chilies 2 tbs coriander powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 2 tsp cumin powder 2 tsp red chili powder 1/2 tsp garam masala 2 tsp whole cumin 1 tbs ginger/garlic paste Whole spices, Cardomom pods, cinnamon sticks, whole black pepper 2 tbs ghee Few bullet chilies Chopped green /red peppers 1/2 cup boiled masoor dhal 4 fresh tomatoes chopped 1/2 tin tomatoes 3 onions chopped 4-5 tbs fried onions Fried potatoes Chopped mint and coriander leaves Pinch of saffron mix with water.
Lets Start To Cook Keema Biryani
Let me go through the ingredients with you guys we have here 600 grams of lamb mince and you can use beef as well or chicken I’ve got about approximately about three to four tablespoons of cooking oil the spices we have here is 1 tablespoon of crushed chilies 2 tablespoons of coriander powder 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder 2 teaspoons our red chili powder half a teaspoon of garam masala and 2 teaspoons of cumin powder 2 teaspoons of whole cumin we’ve got some whole spices here.
Add More Ingredients
Some bay leaves cinnamon sticks and some cardamom pods salt to taste 2 tablespoons of ghee a couple of bullet chilies some chopped up red and green peppers and we also have half a cup of Masuda and I’ve boiled that for tomatoes and I’ve chopped them up half a tin of chopped tomatoes 3 onions chopped some fried onions here and that’s about 4 to 5 tablespoons we’ve got some potatoes here and I’m going to be frying them and we also have some coriander leaves and some fresh mint and be chopping them up and also 4 cups of rice.
Add Oil And Cook Onions Till Gloden Colour
I will be boiling that and I’m not going to fully cook it because what will happen is when we set our biryani the rice will fully cook then in our pan what we’re going to do first is we’re going to add in the oil and then we’re going to add in a couple of teaspoons of ghee as well you don’t have to if you don’t want to but I’m going to be mixing them both up we’re going to add that in and also it goes the whole spices here we’re gonna throw them in and also the whole cumin and our chopped onions now what a cook the onions till they’re lightly golden.
That will take a little while to be patient guys I’m gonna cook the onions on medium heat to keep an eye on they can’t burn very quickly the onions are nice and golden and we’re gonna add to that our mince and also back at the beginning of the video and I was mentioning the ingredients and sorry I forgot the ginger and garlic place we need about a tablespoon of that as well we’re gonna throw that in and we’re gonna give that a mix what we’re gonna do now is we’re gonna break up.
The mince cuz it’ll be in lumps I’m gonna cook this for about five minutes and then cover and cook that for about five minutes and then we’re going to add in the spices we’ve been cooking the means for about five minutes and as you can see the color has changed as well there’s still moisture in there but don’t worry you’re gonna cook this a bit more but at this point, we can add in the spices we’re going to add in the fresh tomatoes Salter’s and also the salt and the chiles and then gently stir it.
Now we’re going to cook this until the tomatoes have all dissolved in there and the spices and everything are cooked in nicely let’s give that a stir and then keep an eye on it it’ll probably take about 8 to 10 minutes to make sure it doesn’t stick to the bottom and you’ll know when it has cooked because the water would have reduced.
Mix Up The Boiled Keema
Let’s take a look and you should be able to see now guys that the oil has come up onto the surface and there’s no water left in there now and the keema is now done what we going to do is I’ve chopped up half of the mint and the coriander leaves and the other half we’re going to use that for garnishing and this half we’re going to mix that into our mints and give that a stir and now this is ready I’m going to switch this off and then we’re going to start on the right.
Put Rice To Water And Give 8 Mints To Cook
I’ll put their potatoes to fry now and also we’re going to boil our rice and I will show you how much we need to cook the rice, of course, you can also make all these preparations beforehand as well to save time but I want to show you step by step so the rice has been cooking for about eight minutes and it’s now done so what I do is I normally press it like this and it should break like this you shouldn’t go mushy so that’s ready I want to drain the water out and when I’m ready to lay up I’ll show you what we need to do then

When we finish off garnishing on top of it and then what we’re going to do is make some rice again and put that over the top and also if you want to add some color to your eyes you can also add some saffron and all I’ve done is I did some water to that pour that over and then what we’re going to do is we’re going to take our fried potatoes and pop them randomly on the rice and then we’re going to take our peppers throw them over sprinkle over the remaining chopped coriander and mint leaves starting to look colorful.
Now and then we’re going to take on rasul doll and sprinkle that over and then the final ingredient is the fried onions and we’re gonna throw them over as well and also if you want to add you can also add a little bit more key on top so guys then what we’re going to do is cover this I’m going to cook this until the biryani is cooked and the rice is done and then we’re going to serve this with some let’s see I can’t wait.
